A family of 3 needs how much cash in Hong Kong for 4-5 days. Hotels/flight etc. all taken care of. We need to arrange local transportation, food, shopping etc. Do the small vendors /shops accept credit cards there?

well for food, if you wanna spend 20 for bkft, 40 for lunch and 60 for dinner, that would be about 120 a day. and it depends on how much you want to buy. i would bring like 200 bucks a day, for transportation and stuff included too, and... so 4-5 days would be about 1000.
it all depeneds on what you wanna do and buy, so i cant really say anything.

Carry HK$3-4000 in cash and use your credit card for major shop purchases, restaurants etc. As long as its Visa, MasterCard or Amex you will be fine.
**there is no Sea world in Hong Kong, I think she means Ocean Park.**

depends how much you wish to spend on food and things. you can get food very cheap about $20- 50 HKD but if you want to dine in posh restaurants they will be more expensive.
