Belly Button Peircing?

ok well i have already decided to peirce my own belly button so dont bore me with the old %26quot;just wait until your 18%26quot; and %26quot; How old are you%26quot; or %26quot;that is stupid%26quot;

i already have heard it all and i dont care.

i am doing it.

so now that we have got that clear, how exactly do i go about it.

what kind of needle should i use and where can i get that needle?

what kind of ring and where should i get the ring from?

no online stores please.

i dont have a credit card so obviously online stores will not work.

and what are the procedures to peircing your own belly button?

someone who has had experience would be great.

Belly Button Peircing?

Ok, you can normally get them at such places like Hot Topic, or even a Spencers. But some Kiosks in malls have them, and I%26#039;d go with the smallest needle possible I%26#039;m not too sure about belly buttons so i%26#039;m going with a 16gauge. ALWAYS sterilize the needle even if its packaged up. Alcohol usually does the trick. And if your not allergic to sterling silver you can go with that but they have acrylics out too which are for people who can%26#039;t wear silver. The ring like i said go to a hot topic or spencers they have them. The procedure is pretty simple, if you got the tongs to hold the perfect spot on your belly button you just clamp, and shove the needle through. Keep the needle in place and stick the ring through. Presto! you%26#039;re pierced...now make sure to keep it clean, no dirt, bodily fluids, etc. I%26#039;m serious about the bodily fluids!!! Oh and to clean it I think its a regular soap with no added stuff, like anti-germ or whatever. I can%26#039;t remember specifically what soap I used but just keep it clean and no fancy soaps!

Lol i feel like a jackass for giving you directions and everything, but yeah...i think doing research on it first would be best. And a professional is always a wiser choice. I dunno where you can get a piercing done for $25 tho...usually the ring costs something and then the actual piercing costs $50+. I might%26#039;ve been ripped off so yeah...call around.

Belly Button Peircing?

lol, thanks for the points...good luck! Remember to make sure to get it treated if it does get infected, which i%26#039;m hoping will not happen. Report It

Belly Button Peircing?

Don%26#039;t peirce it yourself!!! you need an experienced person to do it for you... because you can get it too deep/shallow....seriously for all the expense you will have to go to, to do it yourself...you%26#039;d be better off going to get it done proffesionally, they will numb it with sum weird spray, fit you with the correct size gauge and length for your belly button and give you after care advice... You are a weirdo though even thinkin about duin it yourself.. if you do, do it by yourself.. have fun with a ****** up peircing that will more than likely get infected.... silly little ***** aren%26#039;t you!!!!

Belly Button Peircing?

Okay well when i got mine pierced they use a hollow needle to get rid of th tissue as it has to go threw a muscle. You can use any belly button ring but DO NOT use a dangle one to start off. Usually what they do is they line up the hole with yournose and then draw it with pen then they use clamps and pull it out then pop the needle threw then the belly button ring and your done. then you will have to leave it in for 6 weeks, then you can change it to whatever one you want.. Good luck i hope it turns out great.

Belly Button Peircing?

You%26#039;re better off paying someone to do it for you. It can really hurt, and it can get infected easily if you do it yourself.

Belly Button Peircing?

If you%26#039;re that determined to do it yourself I would go to a piercing/tattoo place and ask someone the most sterile way to do it yourself. It would be wise to have something to numb yourself with first. I don%26#039;t know where you would get a hold of lidocaine or the proper syringe. They will advise against doing it yourself unless you%26#039;re a licensed piercer. You run the risk of getting an infection.

I won%26#039;t tell you how to pierce it because i am not a licensed piercer. I have had mine pierced for about 9 years though. I would just do more homework. Talk to professionals if you can, not people on yahoo answers.

Belly Button Peircing?

She%26#039;s right, don%26#039;t do it yourself. It doesn%26#039;t matter how old you are, it%26#039;s not safe. Why not just pay $25 like I did and get it done in 30 seconds at a professional? I have a feeling you aren%26#039;t old enough to just go do it....so you know what I would tell you next then, huh? Don%26#039;t be silly, be Safe!

Belly Button Peircing?

well take it from me, my friend did her belly piercing helself %26amp;%26amp; it got infected badly.

also, its really hard 2 find the right needle because i got it done in a store %26amp;%26amp; the needle wasnt really a needle it was like a little tube.

its really hard 2 do %26amp;%26amp; if u havent heard some1 already died from it.

im young too.

but its really dangerous.

so i suggest u dont do it.

Belly Button Peircing?

you don%26#039;t have to wait till your 18? just walk in and get it done by a professional.

Belly Button Peircing?

I did mine a long time ago.. i dont remember how old i was, probably maybe 14. Used a safety pin and shoved the ring through after.

It was cute for the first two days before it got infected.

Reallly infected.

Like, i cant begin to tell you how bad it was.

Its really dangerous.. but if u insist, make sure you clean it ALL THE TIME.

But i definately recommend getting it done professionally.. if youre too young, ask around. Someone in school always knows a professional peircer or tattoo-er.. plenty in mine did, anyways...
