I have been trying to get a loan but, have been taken 3 times!?

Hello all I have been trying to get a much needed loan for a while now and 3 times I have been taken for hundreds of dollars. Does anyone give a real true loan anymore? I need $6000 to get rid of some debt left by my ex, I have 3 daughters to take care of and can%26#039;t afford to dish out money upfront for a loan anymore, I can%26#039;t take the risk. Does anyone know of someone who will give a loan to someone who has bad credit but, can pay the bill?

Who%26#039;s scammed you for money BEFORE getting a loan? That makes no sense. You%26#039;re there for the loan because you don%26#039;t have the money.

I would be wary of anyone who asks for money upfront.

Just because you have bad credit, though, doesn%26#039;t mean that they won%26#039;t give you a loan... You may have to go to a lot of different places, and your interest rate will be high, but someone will take you.

DON%26#039;T PAY MONEY UP FRONT FOR A LOAN!

wouldn%26#039;t you be better asking this on the US board instead of the UK and Ireland one, you would get much more pertinent answers

It%26#039;s tough to deal with the money thing ... what some people may be misunderstanding is that the money you lost is due to a processing/application fee for the loan (unfortunately quite common these days) My husband went through the same thing years ago when applying for an equity loan. You really need to look for ways to perhaps get a secured loan (only good if you have something to work with) if your company has a retirement plan sometimes loans can be taken out against these accounts. Its just a matter of asking up front, and talking to the people before agreeing to submit to applications. Since you know you%26#039;ve been turned down there%26#039;s probably some mark on your report putting you in the %26quot;risk%26quot; group. If you go to one of the companys who%26#039;ll give loans to anyone there%26#039;s a good chance you%26#039;ll be paying an extremely high interest rate. Keep looking

I don%26#039;t think you should be saddled with a debt that isn%26#039;t yours. See if you can find a way to contact your ex so they can be held accountable for their debt. Go to court if you have to.

the easiest way is if you own a home-you can take out an equity line of credit-(usually with no fees involved) if not -since your credit is poor-lenders think you are a higher risk-therefore they usually charge a higher interest rate along with higher fees- which can be negotiate-you can sometimes pay a higher interest rate in exchange for no fees upfront-either way they are going to make there money and you have to decide if you want to pay fees upfront or take a higher rate. Good luck

if the loan was in your ex%26#039;s name, you shouldn%26#039;t have to pay, but if its in joint names your liable. Trying to get more loans to pay a dept you can%26#039;t pay is not a good option. Seek legal advice.
