You should have not given out your credit card number. Put a freeze on your credit card right away. I usually charge something and then pay the full amount when the next bills comes.

Recently I disputed a medical bill from 2004 that was in collections and of course listed as such on my credit report. There was no reason for it to have gone to collections as I had insurance that should have cover 100% of the bill (I had not heard anything so I assumed it had).

I gave the collection agency a call and explained the situation to them they said to send them a copy of the insurance info and they%26#039;d take care of it so I did.

On 02/26/08 I call to see if they received it, I was told that yes they had received it and that the account had been returned to the client and I no longer had an account with the collection agency. Which of course is a good thing.

However, today I check my exerian report to see if the dispute had been removed. It had not been removed but the item had been updated. It said something like this item was verifed on Feb 2008 listing is scheduled to continue untilll Feb 2011.

Crazy is right...the other responders need to read your question more carefully.

The collection agency is the people who posted this to your report. If they say it has been returned, then it MUST come off your credit report.

Try to get a letter from the collector saying they no longer have your debt. Either way, file a dispute with the credit bureau and tell them this debt was not validated and it must be deleted.

First of all- did you dispute with all 3 bureaus? You should. Second- if your insurance didn%26#039;t pay it then you owe it- so it won%26#039;t come off but will be updated. You should have gotten an E.O.B. (Explanation of Benefits) from insurance company after medical procedure which tells you what was paid. If you didn%26#039;t get that then you should have received numerous bills from the doctro/hospital before they turn it to collections. Now you are hoping that insurance will go back 4 years on a claim. Good luck- depending on policy they don%26#039;t have to - and most won%26#039;t.

I say be proactive, contact the insurance company yourself to see if the bill had been paid by them. They should be able to provide you evidence of when the medical claim was submitted to them and when they paid it off. Provide this to the creditor, they will double check with the insurance co and remove the error, which can take up to 30 days to remove. Also, provide this directly to the credit bureaus and dispute with them.

Are you saying that the collection agency sent the account back to the medical company? If so they have given up their right to collect the debt and they can not make that listing on your report.

Call back and verify that this is what happened, and if so get them to fax a letter stating as such. Once you have that letter, make a copy of it and send it to the credit bureaus along with your own letter explaining the situation.

That should be sufficent to solve the problem.

Go talk to them. That agreement to pay all of your school expenses is probably more than they thought it would be for Med School. Ask if they can help you financially and then go get a school loan....that is what 90% of the rest of the world has to do if they don%26#039;t have rich parents. See if you can qualify for some grants or something. Does your Stepmother have a job? If so, I think it is unfair of you to expect her to work and hand over her paycheck for your school expenses. Think about it and fix the situation. Start out by telling them you are sorry.

I am handicapped and a senior widow living on Social Security and I have been the victim of identity theft by a former in home care provider and now I cannot make the monthly mortage payment and when I called Adutl Protective Services to see what they had to say the reply was well when you are out on the streets just remember we all have to go one time as as another and the party hung up.

So I am not sure as to what is going to happen to me I feel like I am going to have a major heart attack and if so I hope it is fatal as this stress is getting to me.

Talk to your bank about a reverse mortgage. That may be the answer to getting you some money and getting the mortgage payment out of the way.

Most states have an on-line Q%26amp;A and complaint form for the States Attorney General. If you file a complaint with the Attorney General and you can prove that you have an Identity Theft problem you can have any claims frozen until it can be proven that they are legal claims. If you can%26#039;t afford a lawyer, there are free legal clinics in most big cities that help people in trouble. I would first start with the Attorney General of your state and see if you can get you problem resolved there. Good Luck

Yes, but you may want to consider a roommate/housemate as you will be broke. Also start a budget. anything is possible. good luck!

Consider an apartment share for now. That way you%26#039;re only spending $350/ month.

Open a savings account and get automatic deductions $50-$100 into your savings account each month. Continue paying your bills on time.

Then in another year, consider getting a house Lease with the option to buy for $700 per month. That way, when you spend the money - you will eventually have something to show for it.

I would suggest getting a cheaper car 425 a month and only making 12 to 13 an hour. You can definately afford your own place just have to budget, i did it during college. Find a place to donate plasma and thats another 200 bucks a month in your pocket, cut back on eating out and the bar , stock up on mac and cheese, ramen noodles and natural ice.

It sounds like you have a dependency on men. At 17 you moved in with a guy you only knew for a month. I%26#039;m sure right from the beginning there were signs but you were young. You stayed in that relationship for 3 years. You could have gotten out much earlier but you liked having a man there. From the math, you met guy #2 within a short time of moving home and finishing school. Then after 4 years (you can figure someone out within a year or two at the most) you break up with him because of his kids and the sex slave problem. So here you are 2 months later and think you are in love with this guy.

You really need to evaluate why you love him. What is it about him? Is it that he treats you nice? Is it that he is unlike the others? Seriously, sit down and think about it. It%26#039;s just about how you judge the situation. a mortgage company should be able to understand the situation. And thus more lenient. Nope. Life happens. And, perfect credit does you know good if you can%26#039;t afford to pay the creditors who are giving you credit lines.

Aside from that fact, anything you need to do that requires a credit check will also accept a %26quot;Credit Explanation.%26quot; Especially if you do not have a history of derogatories. It will only show as %26quot;Instances of 30 days past due = 1.%26quot; That%26#039;s really no big deal. As you said, your mortgage company doesn%26#039;t care, and they are the ones you owe. So, no one else is going to care. They just want to make sure they get their money. So, when you pay the mortgage, you can get request an update be sent to the credit agencies. Sometimes mortgage companies do it for automatically (mine reports to the agencies every 60 days). Ask them about it. If it%26#039;s still bothering you, you can also send in your own letter of explanation to have filed along with your credit report.

Really quickly here....you are late? How late? If your payment was due on the 1st and you pay it on the 30th...you will incure a late fee but no effects on credit report. The lender does not report you until you are 31 days past due on your payment.

Some people think women don%26#039;t have any rights in Iran. But in my view, women are overrunning the place. They%26#039;re very respectful, and they%26#039;ve been the winners in so many cases: They get into the best universities because they%26#039;re very smart. And they get the best jobs because they can do so many of them better than men. Let%26#039;s clarify some political issues as well: Some of the Americans think that president Ahmadinejad hates the U.S and Israel and wants to nuke them!! The Media are good at putting lying comments out there. I really don%26#039;t get the point why our politicians defame themselves by talking about things that have got nothing to do with us. The thing is that they occasionally make some statements that the media would make them controversial topics to interest its viewers! For example they pick up some specific phrases of a long speech (without refering to the main points and reasons for that speech) and put so many bad comments on that.

First of all, Iranians don%26#039;t hate anyone. If our government complains about some injustice going on in the world, it%26#039;s not bad, is it? (Although what we want from them is to shut up and not get us into trouble by talking about things that are none of our concern) We hate neither Jews nor Americans. How would our guys dream of America, want to be like them as much as possible, and hate them at the same time?! SECRET: Iranians are the only people in the Mid-East that are pro-American! Being agaisnt the U.S policies is a different story! We live basically the same lives.Don%26#039;t look at the way women dress at the public places! You%26#039;ve got to see them in other places!I%26#039;ve got to say that for Iran, Israel is not equal with Jews! Israel is a gov%26#039;t. Jews are faithful people! A few of them live here in our neighbourhood and they live just like the rest of Iranians. (20,000 Jews and lots of Christians live here! Iran%26#039;s different!) And two of Iran%26#039;s parliment members are Jews. Who says we want to force others to convert to Islam? Have you ever found a Muslim knocking at your door asking you to do so?

Christians and Jews are both God-believers and respectful to us. In Iran, religion is one of the least important factors. Where you come from and what your religion is are not important to us at all.

I wonder who Iran is really a threat to. Is it logical to say someone%26#039;s guilty because we THINK / PREDICT that he%26#039;s going to do something wrong? And they repeat the same %26quot;nuclear weapons%26quot; tosh over and over and brainwash people! Correction! It%26#039;s %26quot;nuclear energy%26quot;. Besides, how many %26quot;nuclear weapons%26quot; do they have themselves? Hundreds of thousands? Has Iran ever attacked any countries? No. Has it developed any nukes? No! That%26#039;s what nuclear agency says. Only Iran%26#039;s opponents are pulling Iran%26#039;s leg and what they say is just based on political conflicts. What we%26#039;re doing is legal. Iran is a peaceful country. Why? It%26#039;s the regional super-power and if she wanted, she could easily invade the countries in our neibourhood just like what Saddam did to our country, but as you see Iran has peaceful relations with all of them.

Some people say he said: Israel should be wiped off the map! the thing is that he exactly said: %26quot;The Imam %26quot;Khomeyni%26quot; said this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time.%26quot;They%26#039;ve only told you this phrase not the whole thing and it%26#039;s mistranslated intentionally. If 6,000,000 Jews were killed, that%26#039;s terrible, but 300,000 Shiite Moslems killed by Saddam aren%26#039;t important at all? Over 650,000 Iraqi people are killed and that%26#039;s not important?! When Fox News simply says that America and Israel are capable of destroying and killing Iran%26#039;s population of 69,000,000 within two weeks, it%26#039;s OK and no one says they%26#039;re threatening other countries to nuke them (I saw this with my own eyes on the Fox News website) Millions of people killed in Afghanistan, Hiroshima %26amp; Nagasaki and the Vietnam war are not considered human beings at all! Now I think you%26#039;d get the point why he%26#039;s IRONICALLY said it%26#039;s a myth. Moreover, don%26#039;t you believe in freedom of speech/mind?

3. Such mottos are not just said in Iran and as you know whatever you hear is a response to the U.S govt%26#039;s terrible actions which has made life for many people hell (You wouldn%26#039;t deny that attacking countries is a mistake. Would you?)

4. The U.S gov%26#039;t helped Saddam attack Iran and I hope you know which country gave Iraq biological weapons which killed a million Iranians.

5. America hit an Iranian airplane over the Persian Gulf and killed 200 passengers for no reason.

6. America places sanctions on Iran, promotes a false image of Iran and Iranians, scares tourists away, and harms our economy, development and credit. To what purpose?

When you call Ahmadinejad a nutcase for what he%26#039;s said, what do you call Bush for his actions? I mean it%26#039;s a good idea to consider what Bush is doing to the world with his wrong decisions and lies. Let me give you a great piece of advice... SHOP, SHOP, SHOP around before borrowing money on a house. Try your bank first, they will have a good lead for you and might even do the loan. Mortgage brokers are interested in one thing, that is the sale... So be very leary of them. I am with Chase, very pleased and have a good rate. Another good piece of advice is make sure you get a LOCKED in interest rate. If you don%26#039;t your payments can adjust every few months without warning and you could go from a 1,200 a month note to a 2,000 one in a heartbeat. Also, make sure you get your homeowners insurance and property taxes to be added into your loan in an escrow account. That way you have them paid for each month and you wont have to worry about that big bill once a year. And finally, If you do get a mortgage, pay the monthly bill according to your payday. All the facts you mentioned here is nothing to do with any legal issue relating to your matrimonial life but since it relates to drinking habit of your husband so I thought let me share my life experience with you. I%26#039;m running my fiftieth year %26amp; have been married for almost 26 years. I have been taking alcoholic drinks regularly since my marriage time %26amp; even had habit of smoking. Although my wife never objected to my habits but she only told be occasionally to control both these habits. About two years back I simply stopped taking alcoholic drinks %26amp; till date I have not touched these even on any occasion. Similarly I stopped smoking a month back just like that %26amp; have not touched it till date. Both these habits one can leave only if he or she has willpower, which fortunately I had. I could only give up smoking after two years after I gave up alcoholic drinks as it took me two years to get guts %26amp; willpower to give it up. NO one even my doctor friends ever told me or forced me to leave both these, they only suggested sometimes %26amp; knew that I won%26#039;t give them up these, but now when they meet me %26amp; they are all surprised that a chain smoker %26amp; big boozer can give both these habits in one go. Tell my example to your husband, don閳ユ獩 force him just make up his mind %26amp; gain will power to get rid of this drinking habit, definately he will give up. My married daughter when came to know that I left both these habits was the most happiest person as she had seen me drinking %26amp; smoking through out her childhood. Ok, so I have a few questions. I hope somebody [who actually knows what they%26#039;re talking about to some extent] can help me out.

I%26#039;m 20 and my husband is 23. We just bought out fist house about... four or five months ago... I love our house but, the problem is that I want to start an in-home child care business in the near future and though our house could handle it, I%26#039;d like to have more space.

I know the market is horrible right now and selling this house would be nearly impossible but, my mom and her boyfriend [luckily] are interested in it. The problem is that both of them have pretty bad credit and are a bit in debt. Is there any way they could get a loan? If not, is there another option for them to be able to get it? I%26#039;ve heard about... land loans?... or something and renting to own but, I know nothing about either. Do you know anything about it? Would they be able to do that? %26amp; if we did do something like that, would it affect my husband and I buying a new house?

short answer...they need to apply for a loan. The other option for them to get in is to lease it from you with an option to buy. Yes, it does affect your ability to borrow so before you lease to them you need to talk to a lender and see how leasing your first home would affect your ability to borrow money for the next house. I%26#039;m a resident of the state of Illinois, and I had a summer internship (summer 2007) in California. How should I fill the state taxes? Does any of the following options sound reasonable?

1. Fill Illinois state tax as resident (IL-1040, or their free webfile), and fill California%26#039;s 540-NR? The problem with this one is that Illinois wants to overcharge me and extra $300 for the days I%26#039;ve been in California.

2. Fill IL-1040 and IL-1040-CR and CA-540-NR to get a credit for the California tax in my Illinois forms/

3. For both states, fill as non resident or partial resident. (IL-1040-NR, CA-540-NR). The only problem here is that is that in IL-1040-NR there is no way to mention an exit date AND and a re-entrance date.

4. There is a final option of letting a software such as H%26amp;R TaxCut take care of it, but of course I hate to part with $30, which it charges for state tax filing! I%26#039;ll be ok with filling the required forms myself if I just knew which strategy to choose.

It has been 10 years exactly since Nancy divorced Kevin Sullivan to marry Chris Benoit. In the 1980閳ユ獨 Sullivan, along with his then-wife Nancy, were running a gimmick in wrestling of how they were Satanists, and Nancy was known as 閳ユ翻he Fallen Angel.閳?She later became known as 閳ユ凡oman.閳?The trouble with the Satanists gimmick was it was for real, and was not a work, or fake. In the 1990閳ユ獨 Kevin Sullivan was the booker for WCW, and he scripted his wife Nancy into having an affair with Chris Benoit who was a member of the Four Horsemen. This made for a good angle, except, the acting became reality as Chris and Nancy actually fell in love and Nancy divorced Sullivan to marry Benoit.

Benoit left the WCW to go to work for the WWE which was then known as the WWF. It is a fact that Sullivan threatened Benoit and told him he would kill him. Yes, that was 10 years ago, but Kevin Sullivan is no dummy. He is known for being a calculating, cold-hearted individual. Today, according to a source close to me, Kevin Sullivan is a high ranking member of the Satanic Church. The police need to consider the possibility that Sullivan carried out these gruesome murders in order to have his revenge, which is what Satanists live for. He could have entered the home, with an accomplice or accomplices and held the Benoit閳ユ獨 at gunpoint, Sullivan could have then bound up Nancy, and made Benoit and his son watch as he strangled the life out of her. Then the next day after making Benoit and his son spend the day in agony, murdered Benoit閳ユ獨 little boy because of his hatred for the offspring of Benoit and Nancy. Then he could have made Benoit wait an entire day before killing him to by hanging him in the basement.

By doing this, not only would Kevin Sullivan have lived out his Satanic Church creed with his lust for revenge, but he would have destroyed Chris Benoit閳ユ獨 reputation which is what has happened now as the wrestling world is attacking the memory of Chris Benoit remembering him as an insane baby killer and wife killer instead of the great World Champion wrestler and friend that he was.

Satanists hate the Bible and the police have stated that a Bible was found next to the bodies of Benoit閳ユ獨 wife and son. Are you serious? For some reason I really doubt that Iraq has a stadium to fulfill the needs for an NFL game. The NFL is going out of their way to have a regular season game in London this year and that%26#039;s almost too much as it is. So many questions still need answered. 1. Benoit supposedly hung him self either Saturday or Sunday but not past midnight. The wwe reports that the text messages were sent after midnight. How could Benoit send them if he had already hung himself. 2. There was alcohol all over in Benoits gym where he hung himself. How could he hang himself while he is drunk? He could prolbly barely do it while he is sober. 3. Why did he tie his wife up? Chris Benoit isn%26#039;t exactly a wimp he could have taken on his wife easily. 4. Didn%26#039;t Kevin Sullivan threaten to kill benoit and his wife. (enough said here) 5. The media is blaming roid rage. But roid rage only last a few hours at the most. Where as police say he murdered his family over the weekend. 6. What閳ユ獨 with the text message saying the dogs were in the enclosed pole area. The police reported they were running all over the place. 7. I saw a video on the news where they interviewed the police and the police said when they entered the home the neighbor was in there. What閳ユ獨 with this? 8. The wikipedia page thing. What is with that? 8. Why would Benoit kill himself when he is about to become ECW WORLD CHAMP? 9. Why did Benoit call into WWE and say his family was coughing up blood? Could Benoit been try to tip them off that he was being held hostage? 10. What with the bibles being placed by the bodies? possibly a calling card from the true killer. KEVIN SULLIEVN perhaps.

I still think there is no way Benoit could have done it. He worship his child (according to friends). Police need to do some better investigation.
