Big problem help please?!?

i graduated in 2005 and didn%26#039;t receive my dimploma because i missd too many days in 1/2 semester of algebra 2. it was first hour %26amp; i was mostly late %26amp; that adds up to absences. i passed the class but the principal failed me because of those absences. so im short 1/2 credit of algebra! im a mom and a wife. and im planning on going to college in the fall. but i can not go until i get this taken care of and get my highschool diploma. i called the school %26amp; talked to the new principal %26amp; she said i could of dissputed those absent days with my old principal but that is not possible now cuz he is no longer there. im gona call the superintendednt of the school monday! i would even make up days or whatever i needed to do. if they are not willing to work with me..could i get a lawyer to help me. is that possible? that was actually my husbands idea. i neeeed my highschool diploma or i can%26#039;t go to college. i already tried taking a course online throught a local college %26amp; that didn%26#039;t work out.

Big problem help please?!?

They didn%26#039;t say that they weren%26#039;t willing to work with you they just said that you didn%26#039;t contact them soon enough for them do fix it that way. Getting a lawyer would be silly. You probably won%26#039;t win and it will cost a lot of money. Instead spend that money to take algebra at an adult education center or during the high school%26#039;s summer school and finish your degree. You could also take the GRE test if they college you wish to attend will accept it.
