It is illegal for a bank to give one a loan when the monthly payment is more than 90% of the income?

I am handicapped and a senior widow living on Social Security and I have been the victim of identity theft by a former in home care provider and now I cannot make the monthly mortage payment and when I called Adutl Protective Services to see what they had to say the reply was well when you are out on the streets just remember we all have to go one time as as another and the party hung up.

So I am not sure as to what is going to happen to me I feel like I am going to have a major heart attack and if so I hope it is fatal as this stress is getting to me.

This one says my credit score is too low this one says my income is too little and yet another one tells me I do not have enough equity in my home.

ANY suggestions would be greatly apprecaited.

Thank You

Get the police to catch the person that did the identity theft to you.

I really do not have any suggestions, but hang in there. Things get worse before they get better. Good luck, hopefully you get everything squared away. Just stay positive although that may seem impossible. Sorry I%26#039;m not really helpful :)

Talk to your bank about a reverse mortgage. That may be the answer to getting you some money and getting the mortgage payment out of the way.

If you don%26#039;t plan to leave your house to relatives, that may be the way to go.

Sue the home care provider and the company that sent her.

Most states have an on-line Q%26amp;A and complaint form for the States Attorney General. If you file a complaint with the Attorney General and you can prove that you have an Identity Theft problem you can have any claims frozen until it can be proven that they are legal claims. If you can%26#039;t afford a lawyer, there are free legal clinics in most big cities that help people in trouble. I would first start with the Attorney General of your state and see if you can get you problem resolved there. Good Luck
