At 17 (24 now), I met a guy 4 years older then me and we moved in together 1 month after meeting eachother. It was hell. He had a gambling problem, racked up my credit cards $7000 and never worked. I basically supported him. 3 years later, I finally moved back to my Mom%26#039;s and finished high school. At 20, I met a guy 7 years older then me who was divorced and had full custody of his kids. He was a great guy and takes really good care of his kids. 4 years later, I still wasn%26#039;t ready to take on kids as commitment and he kind of treated me like a sex object although I know he truly did/does love me (trust me, I know, he was just a perve) While on facebook, I recenly reconnected with this guy from elementry and we met for coffee and have been hanging out. He%26#039;s an RN, hasn%26#039;t tried anything but we kissed. We%26#039;re going on our first actual date this weekend. I think I love him. It%26#039;s been 2 months since my last. Do you think it%26#039;s too soon?

There%26#039;s no time limit on love. You can%26#039;t plan it or hold it back. So if it happens it happens. You cant schedule it. Are you in love with him or in love with the idea of being with someone. Might be you%26#039;re afraid of being single.

hi there. no i don%26#039;t thnk it%26#039;s too soon but take things slowly learn about each other, become friends and take it from there, most of us have thought we were in love and find that we were not but i remember being told that love finds us when we least expect it to , it did for me and i am still happily married. so good luck and i hope everything works out for you.

It sounds like you have a dependency on men. At 17 you moved in with a guy you only knew for a month. I%26#039;m sure right from the beginning there were signs but you were young. You stayed in that relationship for 3 years. You could have gotten out much earlier but you liked having a man there. From the math, you met guy #2 within a short time of moving home and finishing school. Then after 4 years (you can figure someone out within a year or two at the most) you break up with him because of his kids and the sex slave problem. So here you are 2 months later and think you are in love with this guy.

You really need to evaluate why you love him. What is it about him? Is it that he treats you nice? Is it that he is unlike the others? Seriously, sit down and think about it. I would try and take your time with him. If you haven%26#039;t moved out of your mother%26#039;s house, do it. Be independent for a while. See what makes you happy. You can never make someone else happy unless you are happy with yourself.

You should seek some counseling to find out why it is you attach yourself to men so easily.
