ME AND ANOTHER PERSON LIVED IN THIS HOUSE WITH MY KIDS AND BOTH SIGNED AND SHE LEFT WITHOUT GETTING OUT OF LEASE AND LEFT ME WITH 750 RENT TO TAKE CARE ON MY OWN LOST MY JOB AND WAS STILL HAD MY KIDS WITH ME AND GOT EVICTED AND NOW ITS ON MY CREDIT REPORT AND AM TRING TO GET A RENTAL AND CAN%26#039;T BECAUSE OF IT WHAT DO I DO

Explain what happened to the landlord and offer to pay an extra two months of security if you can afford it. This way the landlord has some protection should you default on the rent. It will be difficult as people are reluctant to rent to people who have been evicted. Good luck.

There%26#039;s not a lot that you can do. You can take her to small claims court to try to get her half of the rent, but as far as credit goes, it%26#039;s just sour lemons for now. You may just have to find a less...um....appealing place that will accept your credit until you can repair it. Lots of apts will work with bad credit, but not alot will take an eviction. Sorry.

Maybe you can rent from someone that dosen%26#039;t do credit checks. (theres actually alot of those in my area)
